Wright delves into the Bible, the greatest collection of love stories ever told, and selects 20 stories for us to experience in a new way. He identifies from Old and New Testaments the people who wanted to love and to be loved, people with passion, people who formed strong bonds of friendship, people who were loyal, people who had sexual desires, people who failed and received forgiveness, and people who strived to find God in the providence of their daily lives.
He examines twenty stories of all kinds of love—spousal, friend, familial, etc.—in the Bible and challenges us to make the "love connection" in our own lives and in our relationship with God. Prayers, quotes, and questions for reflection at the end of each chapter allow individuals and groups to deepen their grasp of their faith.
