And on the left, a paragraph summary of the species, with a map of the bird's natural range. You can see at a glance how the great egret has black legs, differentiating it from the white great blue heron with its yellow legs, and how the cattle egret blushes red in the legs and bill while breeding. What an excellent guide for bird watchers and bird lovers.
