From School Library Journal:
ea. vol: illus. by author. unpaged. Joy Street Bks, dist. by Little. 1987. PSm $4.95. PreS Two small picture books about an appealing little rabbit. Toddlers will enjoy the simple, cozy stories and the gentle, soft watercolor illustrations. Both books deal with subjects that will please preschoolers. Good Night, Little Rabbit details the young rabbit's bedtime rituals. In Little Rabbit's Garden, Little Rabbit fills his basket with garden vegetables and fruit for his supper. These stories are not as elaborate nor the illustrations as realistic as Beatrix Potter's, but they are a step beyond Dick Bruna's ``Miffy'' books (Price/Stern/Sloan). Sure to be a hit with children and parents. Candy Bertelson, Multnomah County Library, Portland, Oreg.

From Publishers Weekly:
A soft gray outlines the objects in Little Rabbit's world. In one book, he tends to his garden, looking for supper. He pulls up a carrot, a radish and finds that a cabbage is too bigbut takes a bite of it anyway. He nibbles on strawberries, meets Mr. Mole and goes home almost too full for supper. In Good Night, he gets ready for bed, performing all his nightly duties. But just as he hops into bed, there's a snaghe's misplaced his Woolly Rabbit, a stuffed miniature lookalike. When it is found, Little Rabbit goes to sleep. These are simple books that tell of small but earnest moments. The pictures are in light color washes, unique for their sandy, fragile look. Ages 2-5.
