From its early years as an educational institution to more recent work as a relief center, the Brethren Service Center has lived-and thrived-beyond its means. The world would not believe that so much has come from one little rail stop, one small post office, one bankrupt little college in rural Maryland. Read how this little campus dared to embrace the world. In so doing, you will find that it is not the place but the work. It is not the work but the love of neighbor. It is not the love of neighbor but the glory of God that buttresses the work of the Center.
