About the Author

Robert Barry is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. He has a BS from Iowa State University, and MS and PhD degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. His faculty experience includes Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh. Smith is Director, Cancer Care Center, at the Sharon Regional Health System. She has a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh and an MSN (Medical-surgical nursing) from Gannon University. She is a Board-certified advanced practice registered nurse, and Board-certified in advanced nursing administration.
