About the Author

Batsheva Frankel has been teaching Judaic studies and English for more than 20 years, currently a teacher and Dean of Faculty at Arete Preparatory Academy in Los Angeles. In 2011, her project, LaunchBox, won the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles's The Next Big Jewish Idea contest. As an educational consultant, she has given workshops at universities, conferences, day schools and synagogues across the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as designed curricula for organizations including Jewish Journey Project, Torat Chayim, and Los Angeles Hebrew High School.
