Grade 2 -5-- Young would-be pilots and flying enthusiasts will be pleased to find this title on display. Bellville offers a simply written history of flight from the time people strapped wings to their arms to the Voyager and the Beechcraft Starship. The text, which covers no more than one-half of each page, flows smoothly, combining history with flying and its terminology. Technical terms are printed in boldface, defined in the text, and expanded upon in a glossary. Some vintage sepia photos are used at the beginning, but the rest are of the usual sharp, high-quality, full-color variety that readers have come to expect from Bellville.
