For earth, life and physical science teachers, grades 7-12, here is an exciting collection of hands-on classroom activities to help students understand and appreciate our environmental problems, and explore ways to reduce and solve those problems.
Included are 32 detailed, interdisciplinary science lessons with complete directions for use and reproducible student activity guide and worksheets, all conveniently organized into six topical units focusing on major environmental issues:
Each lesson also provides reproducible student activity guides, data tables, worksheets, and background information sheets ready to photocopy as many times as you need them for individual or group use.
Moreover, four special appendices at the end of the Kit present the names and addresses of governmental agencies and selected organizations concerned with environmental issues plus practical letter-writing suggestions on "How to write for information" and "How to write a letter to a governmental office."
