From the Back Cover

These lively rhymes can be used as both fingerplays and action verses. Children can do the fingerplays at quiet times and in limited spaces. When used as action verses, they provide an opportunity for energetic movement, either indoors or out.

Children love rhyming and rhythm. They love to play with words and sounds...

Oliver Elephant happened to sneeze And all of a sudden he fell to his knees.

Instantly, children are involved and listening, waiting to hear more...

It's hard to get up
When you're built like a truck,
But Oliver did it with ease.

Imagination combines with movement as the children exuberantly fall down and pick themselves up. These are verses children want to hear again and again.
