About the Author

Robert A. Williams is professor emeritus and director of the Rivers and Groundwater Projects at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. Robert is a frequent guest on radio and television programs where he discusses science and environmental issues. His experience includes teaching in elementary, high school, and junior high school in addition to being a college professor. His work has helped make the Rivers Project one of the premier water education programs in the world. He is in demand as a speaker and has traveled and conducted workshops throughout the United States, Asia, Europe, and Australia. Robert Williams lives in Edwardsville, Illinois.
