He led NL shortstops in double plays five times putouts 4 times and assists twice. Was an All-American basketball player at Duke as well as playing baseball. Has dark blue boards with gold lettering on the spine. Has a gift inscription in red ink dated '78, otherwise the book is in very good- condition. Has lots of black and white photos of Dick Groat, his double play partner-Bill Mazeroski, manager Danny Murtaugh, pitcher Bob Friend, plus of Groat as a basketball player at Duke.
