About the Author
Vivian Robson started his career in 1913 in Bristol, as a geologist, but by the end of the War had gone to London, fallen in with Bessie Leo and had become co-editor of Modern Astrology magazine. A post which he kept up to the moment that Krishnamurti smashed the Theosophists to pieces in August, 1929. Thereafter he took over Sepharial s Kaleidoscope column at the British Journal of Astrology. Plans for a new series of Pocket Manuals ended after the first, The Radix System, of 1930. This book, A Beginner s Guide, was published the following year. It is one of the fiercest beginners books ever written. Vivian Robson was born in Birmingham in 1890. He died in London, December 31, 1942.
