Learning for the Eternities has five parts. The first, "The Character of Deity," deals with the nature of the Godhead, man as a child of God, the purpose of the Atonement, and how men are saved. Part 2, "Learning for the Eternities," focuses on learning gospel principles through study, faith, and example. Part 3, "Seek to Know the Father's Will and Obey Him," tells how to apply gospel principles in one's life. Part 4, "The Way to Peace," outlines how one can find inner strength and security, while Part 5 is on "Strength of Character." Learning for the Eternities provides a way of life based on the teachings of the prophets through the ages, the scriptures, and the commandments of God, as interpreted by a modern-day prophet and spiritual leader.
