About the Author

Ann Chambers’ most recent effort for PennWell Books is Merchant Power. She is also the author of the PennWell bestsellers, Power Branding, Natural Gas & Electric Power, and the Power Primer. She also served as managing editor for PennWell’s 1998 and 1999 editions of the International Electric Industry Encyclopedia. Ann is a former editor and writer for Power Engineering and Power Engineering International and an author of PennWell’s Power Industry Abbreviator. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from Oklahoma State University and logged several years of newspaper experience pre-PennWell.
