First Edition. the previous owner had carefully protected the book with archival plastic, so that the binding shows minimal signs of handling and age. Unfortunately they used sticky tape to secure the plastic, which has left stains on the front and rear inside covers. Previous birthday wishes at the top left of the 1st page. Otherwise clean and free of annotation. The book describes those species of freshwater fishes most commonly kept in the aquarium. Their biology, breeding habits, general maintenance of aquarium fishes, transportation and preservation are all covered.
