Walter J. Roers is a life-long resident of the Twin Cities area and graduated from the University of Minnesota. His first novel, The Pact, was a finalist for a Minnesota Book Award in 2001. He is married and lives with his wife in Bloomington, Minnesota. Pathos Rising is his second novel.
