About the Author
After earning a BS in history and geology from Olivet Nazarene University (2009) and an MS in geoscience education from Indiana University (2012), Polly Sturgeon joined professionals at the survey in its mission to provide unbiased information about the state's mineral, energy, and water resources, a service they've provided since 1837. A dedicated group of geologists, cartographers, photographers, and editors contributed to this book, the sixth in the state-by-state Geology Rocks! series.
