Edward Abbey wrote the afterword. 8vo (5.75 x 8.75 in.). Salmon paper over boards, stamped gilt title and graphic on cover, stamped gilt titling on spine. Clean, no stains or scratches. Pages are clean. Jacket shows wear, especially along the spine edges. Front is grey with yellow/brown mountain graphic, burgundy lettering. Rear cover is a reproduction from 1934 of the Daily Police Bulletin in Los Angeles, CA, showing a missing persons report on Everett Ruess. Jacket edges show some fading.
