Synopsis
This book centers around the True Prairie and particularly, a site in northeast Oklahoma called the Osage Site. Information used in this book originates from the IBP project itself as well as previous studies conducted throughout the Tallgrass or True Prairie. This endeavor is unique because simultaneous data are available on abiotic variables, plants, invertebrates, birds, mammals, and decomposers. These data were collected by the authors of this book on the Osage Site from 1970-1972.
