About the Author

Anita Benarde is a painter, printmaker, and handmade paper artist. She currently curates for Princeton University s Program in Women s Study and Gender, and lectures and gives art workshops on cruise ships and at The Newark New Jersey Art Museum. She has written and illustrated children s books and design books for adults. Her commissions include works in such major collections as AstraZeneca in Wilmington, Delaware, several for Bally s Park Place, Bally s Grand Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, GlaxoSmith Kline, Sovereign Bank, and Johnson & Johnson.
