Dr. Ruth Beechick received a bachelor's degree in music from Seattle Pacific University and, later, a master's and a doctorate in teaching and curriculum from Arizona State University. She spent a number of years in teaching and curriculum work in the public schools and college education departments, then spent a second career as editor and writer of Christian education materials. Now she continues writing from her home in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Dr. Beechick's special interest in Genesis began in 1961 with the landmark book, "The Genesis Flood" by Dr. Henry Morris. That book has inspired numerous scientists and creationist movements throughout the world which have changed the history of Christian education in our times. Lacking a science background, Beechick pursued Genesis studies in history and literature, instead, and this book is her latest contribution to the creationist movement. She strongly believes that our floundering society needs to return to its roots in the foundational truth of Genesis.
