About the Author

Christina Tree has been traveling and vacationing in Maine since her childhood and has been writing about its attractions for the Boston Globe for more than 30 years. The coauthor of Best Places to Stay in New England, she lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Elizabeth Roundy Richards is a Maine native who has lived in many parts of the state, including Bangor, Augusta, Gorham, and now Portland. Her work has appeared in the Maine Times and in publications of the Maine Office of Tourism.
