About the Author

Connecticut native Barnett D. Laschever was director of tourism for the state for 17 years, and for more than 30 years has been a travel editor and writer for such newspapers as the Hartford Times. A former editor and writer for Fodor's Modern Guides, he lives in Goshen, Connecticut. Andi Marie Fusco, a lifelong Connecticut resident, is a journlist and elementary school teacher. She lives in Washington Depot.
