About the Author

Christina Tree has been traveling and vacationing in Maine since her childhood, and has been writing about its attractions for the Boston Globe for more than 30 years. She is also the co-author of Explorer's Guides to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, as well as Best Places to Stay in New England. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. K. W. Oxnard spent childhood summers in Blue Hill, Maine and holds an MFA in fiction writing from New York University. Her writing has appeared in Women Outside, Hooked on the Outdoors, MaineBiz and Canoe & Kayak, among many other publications. She lives in Portland, Maine.
