Synopsis

Eight new chapters in the Third Edition cover radiologic diagnosis of head and neck disease; AIDS-related diseases; congenital disorders; neurologic disorders; dermatologic problems; parathyroid disorders; sleep disorders; and allergy. All chapters from the Second Edition have been revised by their authors or by members of the attending and resident staff of the Department of Otolaryngology of the State University of New York-Health Science Center at Brooklyn and affiliated hospitals. Completely updated Appendices describe current audiometric tests and present information in quick-reference tabular format on antibiotics used in otolaryngology. The Third Edition also contains a new Appendix on speech-language pathology.
