Youth workers everywhere, listen up! What are the principles behind a truly healthy youth ministry? If youre scratching your head or need a refresher, then Creating an Authentic Youth Ministry is the perfect read for you. Fashbaugh offers a gimmick-free approach to bringing new vitality to your churchs youth ministry. Instead of outlining the latest trends and quick-fixes for getting teens to church, this book examines six principles that will ensure the vitality and stability of a long-term, soul-impacting ministry to and with teenagers. These principles will help you develop a high-impact and lasting ministry with your teens. Creating an Authentic Youth Ministry moves beyond traditional ideas of developing programs and planning activities - addressing topics such as authentic discipleship, authentic worship, teen and adult connections, community building, faith development, and how to equip youth to live as Christian disciples in their everyday lives.
