A Leader's Guide is also available. Completion of the Basic Course is required for Lay Speaker certification.

About the Author
Brian Jackson served as conference director of Lay Speaking Ministries of the East Ohio annual conference and was chair of the Association of Conference Directors of Lay Speaking Ministries education committee. Brian and Sandy currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sandy (Zeigler) Jackson is Director, Connectional Laity Development in the Office of External connectional Relations and Strategic Initiatives of the General Board of Discipleship.
