As an Air Force officer George Davis flew 47 refueling/reconnaissance missions in Vietnam. He is professor emeritus at Rutgers University. His other major works are Love, Black Love and Black Life in Corporate America. He has been a journalist at the Washington Post, Black Enterprise, the New York Times, and Essence Due out in 2012 is his spiritual spy novel, The Melting Points. He is at work on a TV series based on his nonfiction novel, “Branches.”
