This is a book for those who want to date seriously, whether teenagers or experienced daters in their twenties, thirties, or forties. Written from the perspective of one who has "been there, done that," it gives tips, practical advice and encouragement according to gospel precepts, and asks important questions about yourself and your partner.

Chapters include "A Few Tips for Gals and Guys," "Ten Great Things To Do on a First Date," "Are You Prepared?," "Be True to Yourself," "Be Honest to Those You Date," "Enjoy the Dating Years," "Still Dating," "Is This the One?," "Divorced and Dating," "Staying Morally Clean," and "Overcoming the Effects of Abuse."

The author uses her own experiences, as well as others' tales to discuss personal preparedness, honesty with yourself and dating partners, avoiding abuse and divorce, staying morally clean, and having fun.

There's a wealth of down-to-earth, very useable advice here for everyone involved in dating and courtship. Clearly, this is far more than "just another dating book"!

About the Author:
Dating has always been a hobby for Jennifer---not just the act of dating, but the subject itself. She began her collection of talks and handouts on dating while still in high school. As her years as a single adult accumulated, she faithfully compiled her thoughts on dating and documented a diary of datings do's and don'ts.

Experience is a master teacher, and the author learned much through her personal dating experiences as well as those of others. Frequently friends, aquaintances, and siblings turn to Jennifer for dating advice.

Jennifer received her bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University. A year later she returned to her native Arizona. After what sometimes felt like an eternity, she finally met Eric. She left the single scene nearly four years ago to enter the wonderfully busy, challenging, fun, and crazy world of marriage and eventually motherhood. She and Eric have two sons.

Jennifer longs to live in a rural community with four seasons, where her children can ride horses, jump into piles of golden red leaves, build snowmen, and play outside during the summer. Her greatest joys come when playing with her family, reading to her boys at night, and dating the love of her life.
