Facsimile editions of the classic tales of magic and a dventure: "The Wizard of Oz", and its sequel "The Land of Oz" as written by L. Frank Baum, with the original illustrations by W. W. Denslow and John R. Neill. As in original, pages not numbered. The Wizard of Oz, 1st published in 1900 was the most famous novel of the American author Lyman Frank Baum (1856-1919). It spawned over 13 sequels, a popular stage musical. The Wizard of Oz (1902), and the iconic 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland. The original 1900 art work was performed by W.W. Denslow, with whom Baum had collaborated in the past. However, a rift developed between the two and John R. Neill became the illustrator of the Oz book sequels.
