The groans of our lost world––the cries of the defeated, the hateful words of the driven, the tired excuses of the overworked––are muffled by the gossip in the next pew, the self–seeking prayers, the unforgiving attitudes. Out of this chaos comes a Voice of hope, but His message is not just for the lost world; it's for the Lost in Church. Journey with Jonathan Cash as his transparent words help to truly satisfy the longing in your heart, restore your spirit, and renew your relationship with your heavenly Father.

Jonathan Cash, a meteorologist for one of the highest rated morning television newscasts in the country, is also a Bible teacher and popular speaker. Brought up in a traditionally religious home, Jonathan loved storms and displays of the power of nature while growing up. While he was in college studying atmospheric science, he became fascinated with biblical accounts of climatic upheavals. As he read through Revelation seven times, Jonathan met the God behind the storms, the Creator of the universe, the Savior of the world. He was saved at the age of twenty–three.
Jonathan is a scientist who believes in creationism and the Bible as the inspired Word of God. As such, he brings a unique voice for reaching out to many who would not otherwise listen to the Gospel message. He has established In the Sky Ministries to help fulfill his heart's desire for evangelizing lost churchgoers.
In addition to Lost in Church, a book that examines the harvest fields ready within church walls instead of outside of them, Jonathan has written two end–time thrillers, The Age of the Antichrist and Thunder in Paradise. He terms these books "faction" since they are fictional novels based on the facts recorded in Revelation.
Jonathan lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with his wife, Tina, and two children.
"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."––Luke 19:10 NIV
Week after week you sit peacefully in church. You think everything is OK. But do you really hear the groaning of our lost world? Can you hear the cries of young girls with unwanted pregnancies, the hateful words from the couple who once vowed to love one another, the tired excuses of the overworked, the driven, the defeated?
Or, are their cries muffled by the gossip in the next pew, the self–seeking prayers, the unforgiving attitudes barely hidden behind a façade of outward holiness?
Out of this chaos, hear a Voice of hope. It comes from One who seeks to rescue the wounded, liberate the enslaved, revive the disheartened. But His message is not just for the lost world; it's for the lost in church.
If lately you've been feeling more hypocritical than holy, more apathetic than authentic, more critical than caring,
If limits on what or how much you will forgive have crept in,
If you've been seeking the gifts rather than the Giver,
If you've found yourself spreading gossip instead of grace,
If you realize the intimacy you once had with God has dried up...
Then journey with Jonathan Cash as his transparent words help to truly satisfy the longing in your heart and renew your relationship with the Lord. Your heavenly Father longs to restore your spirit and show you how to live as you find your way home.
