Endpapers are a bold, patterned illustration in a light brown and black. Both volumes are profusely illustrated with fascinating photographs of the New Guinea art pieces from Marcia and John Friede's collection in full color. Images are striking and contemplative. Dust jackets are both a black heavy paper with full color images on each cover, with white lettering on the spine. Black slipcase bears different images with a similar design to both volumes, with nestled black satin book pull.VOLUME I - Contents include: Dedication; Director's Forward by Harry S.
