Soft cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Religion. This book has creases, a tear to the front cover at spine taped shut, the first few pages are separated and taped and some tear downs and staining. The inside pages appear to be clean with no notes found although some are beginning to separate. Translated from the Russian by Archimandrite Lazarus with an introduction by Archimandrite Kallistos (Ware). The work first appeared almost a century ago in 1867. Bishop Ignatius speaks to us all about the struggles untaken by every Christian in the spiritual arena. A good reading copy.
