About the Author

David J. Cherrington is a professor of organizational leadership and strategy at Brigham Young University and director of the Human Resource Management group. He has taught at the University of Illinois and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has an MBA and DBA from Indiana Universiy and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
