About the Author

Lyn Cook is the popular children's author of The Little Magic Fiddler, Rebel on the Trail, Jady and the General, Pegeen and the Pilgrim, The Road to Kip's Cove, Samantha's Secret Room and The Magical Miss Mittens. She received the Vicky Metcalf Award for her contribution to Canadian Children's Literature in 1978. Lyn lives in Westport, Ontario.
