Carol Korty, author of 'Plays from African Folktales' and 'Silly Soup: Ten Zany Plays' received her BA in Theater from Antioch College and her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She is Professor Emerita, Emerson College in Boston. She has taught playwriting, acting and improvisation to children of all ages and students learning their craft. She is an accomplished playwright and director and continues to work with professionals, teachers, junior high and high school students.
