Scholar and poet Frank Davey is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Western Ontario. He received a BA from UBC, where he was a founder of poetry newsletter TISH. He has an MA in Creative Writing and a PhD from the University of Southern California. He is the author of a number of books of Canadian criticism and former editor of Open Letter, a Canadian journal of writing and theory, and of the world's first on-line literary magazine SwiftCurrent.
