He began do counts of adults to immatures, studying migration patterns, and thinking about success rates in hunting. He has since travelled broadly and studied (observed) deeply. Excellent colour photographs of his feathered friends (and some foes) are at the center.Cond : Paper wrapper is blue with grey-green lettering. Yes ! there's a photo of a peregrine in flight on the front cover.Volume is tight, bright, square, and clean - save for a gift inscription on the half-title. Excellent reading copy ! Quote (p. 54) : " Relieved that she obviously had not been successful, and hoping that she would make another attack, I kept her in view until she was once more poised high overhead. When she finally keeled over, she stooped perpendicularly, revolving, piercing golden through the blue sky and black through white cloud. Near the ground, she drew Size: 8vo.
