About the Author

Stefan Hahn has a Ph.D. in radio-engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, where he is currently professor of electronic engineering and head of a signal processing research group. He was chairman of the URSI Commission on Electromagnetic Metrology from 1981-1987, is a senior member of the IEEE, and a member of the Polish and New York Academies of Science. He has published extensively in the USA, UK, Germany, and Poland.
