About the Author
Garry Hess is a research member of the technical staff in the land-mobile products sector of Motorola, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champagne/Urbana. He is the author of Land-Mobile Radio System Engineering (ISBN: 0-89006-680-9).
