About the Author:

Barbara Van Cleve learned about the hard work of ranching on her family s ranch, the Lazy K Bar, founded in 1880 on the east slopes of the Crazy Mountains in central Montana. She is the co-author, along with cowboy poet Paul Zarzyski, of Roughstock Sonnets.
