About the Author

Born in New York and raised in Northern California, the late John Finnegan studied life sciences and social sciences at San Francisco State University and the College of Marin. The author of nine books and a lecturer and seminar leader, Finnegan worked in several holistic medical centers as a nutritional and environmental consultant. BOB WALBERG, who works as a master herbalist and nutritionist, revised this classic consumer’s guide. Bob is one of the founders of the flax oil industry and has been involved with alternative health since the 1970s.
