Synopsis
Through his years of ministry, Jimmy Holbrook has seen the need for parents to be intentional about providing an environment where kids can grow up to face the world with a solid, spiritual foundation. Jimmy Holbrook shares a good foundation to building a shelter by discussing the importance of a personal relationship with Christ followed by a strong marriage. He continues by sharing ways to make your home a safe house, a green house, and a fun house. The basics of relationship, character, and value development are at the heart of his work. The author wants parents to succeed in raising kids who can successfully face the world as adults.
About the Author
Jimmy Holbrook is a graduate of Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. He also attended Focus on the Family Institute as one of the members of the inaugural class. Jimmy currently serves as the pastor of Harrah Free Will Baptist Church in Harrah, Oklahoma. He has been in ministry for over sixteen years and has always been passionate about working with families. Jimmy and his wife are the proud parents of five children.
