Synopsis

Christians share a commitment to the inerrancy of Scripture, but have we slipped on our commitment and understanding of sufficiency? We believe the Bible is true, but do we believe it is enough for every matter of faith and practice? Rob Rienow invites us to reexamine this vital doctrine and understand the foundation it sets for advancing the Gospel at church and at home. This book encourages the reader to apply God's Word to every area of ministry.

From the Back Cover

"Should the church turn more in the direction of the family? Should churches equip parents to disciple their own children? The answers to these--and similar--questions is an obvious yes. But how are these things to be done? Rob Rienow has shouted the answer in "Reclaiming the Sufficiency of Scripture." As Rob clearly unpacks, in Scripture God not only reveals what He wants done, how it is to be done, but also who should do it. Rob leaves readers convinced that the Bible alone is sufficient for every matter of faith and life--including the family ministry of the church."

Richard Ross, PhD, Professor of Student Ministry, Southwestern Seminary

What I love about Rob Rienow is the way he unapologetically calls us back to the foundational truths of God. This book brings readers face to face with a critical question that we are not asking and wrestling with enough; "Do I believe in the sufficiency of Scripture?" The answer to this question, above all others, will determine how you live your life and how you relate to others.

Rev. Mark A. Holmen, Author and Missionary to the Faith@Home Movement
