About the Author

David ORegan, CIA, FCA, is auditor general of the Pan American Health Organization in Washington, DC. A certified internal auditor and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, his professional experience includes external auditing with Price Waterhouse forerunner to PricewaterhouseCoopers, and international internal auditing and financial control with United Technologies Corporation. He was also chief audit executive of Oxford University Press. His books on auditing include Auditor s Dictionary and Strategies for Small Audit Shops. He was a contributing editor of Internal Auditor magazine from 2007 to 2013.
