Absent a royal family, the American people have developed a thirst for subjects for gossip from on high. In Bill and Hillary Clinton, they have them. After resigning from Nixon's National Security Council in protest over the Vietnam War, ROGER MORRIS left the White House for a distinguished career as a historian and investigative journalist.
