They discuss the use of vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea in great detail and a number of other possible herbal treatments to a lesser degree, and they also explain what to do if a virus does get through. An extensive list of references shows evidence of research being done in the field and gives the reader sources of additional information. Sahelian and Toews propose a reasonable approach to prevention and treatment, making this an excellent complement to Charles B. Inlander and Cynthia K.
