Synopsis
Beautiful young Jennifer Terry accepts a position as executive assistant at a Christian radio station in a small Virginia town. Her new employer is Daniel Kaine, a former Olympic gold medalist in swimming, blinded in a car accident with a drunk driver. The attraction between the two is immediate, but their blossoming relationship takes a back seat to the threats and attempts on Daniel's life. In a life-or-death confrontation both Jennifer and Daniel come to understand anew the tremendous spiritual rality of God's unfailing wisdom and infinite sovereignty.

In this introductory volume, former singer Jennifer Terry arrives for a job interview at a small Christian radio station. To her surprise, she is hired on the spot by station owner Daniel Kaine, a former Olympic athlete who was blinded in a car accident by a drunk driver. Jennifer soon learns that Daniel is receiving threatening phone calls and that someone appears to want him dead. As she helps him solve the mystery, the two fall in love. While the suspense of the story is only lukewarm, the romantic elements are much more solid. DeBarbieris's narration enhances the book's appeal.
