Grade 3-6-- Four books that are well written, explicit, and appropriate to the age level. The full-color photographs are excellent and well captioned. The two on medical subjects present their topics as they affect children. Animal Rights makes a good case for both sides of the issue but if there is a bias, it is on the side of research. This does not detract from the overall usefulness or authority of the book, however. Rape assumes a basic knowledge of sexuality that,given the young age of the intended audience, may not be as complete as it should be for total comprehension of the issue. It is, however, the best material available on the subject for the age, as it is sensitive and well presented. All four volumes answer report writers' prayers; they are concise, well formatted, and cover many aspects of the topics.
