This is a straightforward, concise guide to about 100 retirement communities, mostly in Arizona. They range from RVs recreational vehicles, manufactured housing, condos, and duplexes to conventional homes and various combinations of the above. There is introductory advice on living in the Southwest, sample costs by type of facility, a glossary of terms, and an index by type of facility and care level offered. Display advertising is included. While not breaking new ground, this is a useful supplement to the same publisher's National Directory of Retirement Facili ties ( LJ 3/15/89).
